DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (F/M/X)

Full-time • Vienna, Austria

YOUR TASKS

  • You lead the project teams of new developments and set up the local teams afterwards

  • You onboard existing teams after signing a new management contract

  • You develop 5-year business plans and budgets for new developments in coordination with the Finance Department

  • You oversee all construction-related activities, ensuring operational aspects of the projects stay on schedule and within budget

  • You manage relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, investors, tenants, and shareholders

  • You ensure that all operational, marketing, leasing, and retail strategies are aligned with pre-opening timelines and objectives

  • You monitor European directives and their national implementation on company-relevant topics (GDPR, ESG, Retail, Leasing, Facility) and oversee local measures across the portfolio

  • You plan and execute the opening event, ensuring a seamless and high-impacted launch of new developments

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in real estate, business or a related field

  • You have extensive experience in developing large-scale retail or retail real estate projects, preferably within the outlet or shopping centreindustry for at least 3 years

  • You have previous experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion

  • You have previous experience in managing stakeholder relationships, including investors, contractors and local authorities

  • You have strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and project management methodologies

  • You have strong people management skills and proven leadership skills

  • You have very good MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English; further language skills would be an advantage

  • You are willing to travel and spend time abroad for an agreed period
