Late Night Shopping was again a complete success, Linda Evans and Christiane Neubauer on the pink carpet, live music with Alexander Knappe and Beatrice Egli and a big charity tombola for "HerzPiraten".

Soltau, 03 August 2019 - On August 02 were again all eyes on the pink carpet at the Designer Outlet Soltau. The popular Summer Late Night Shopping took place for the 7th time already. The mixture of international and national stars and rousing live concerts as well as the big charity tombola was as expected: an unforgettable evening for the numerous visitors. Already early in the evening, the fans secured the coveted seats on the pink carpet in order to get a selfie with the stars.

In addition to the well-known actress Christine Neubauer, Germany's top influencer Cathy Hummels also walked across the pink carpet. The current "Let's Dance" winners Pascal Hens and Ekaterina Leonova were very much welcomed by the fans. Series superstar Linda Evans, known from the series "Denver Clan", came from the USA especially for the event. She thrilled the fans with her glamorous performance and sold raffle tickets for a good cause in the course of the evening like all the other celebrities. This year's proceeds from the charity tombola will go to the non-profit association "HerzPiraten", which takes care of children with heart problems throughout Germany. “HerzPiraten" was founded in 2014 by actress and presenter Nova Meierhenrich, who, together with co-moderator Georg Holzach, entertained the numerous guests throughout the evening.


German pop and hits live on stage

The crowd-pullers on the open air stage in the middle of the center this year were two stars with German-language songs. The first one was pop poet Alexander Knappe, who became known through his participation in the 1st season of the casting show X Factor. The highlight of the Shopping Night was the performance of pop star Beatrice Egli on the festively illuminated open air stage. The popular Swiss inspired the audience with songs from her new album "Natürlich!".

As always, there were also other surprises for young and older people: Elmo from Sesame Street and Mr. Jack with his balloon figures made children's eyes shine. The styling bus of the long-haired girls, walking acts and a varied culinary offer did not make the day long for the customers. Investor, center operator and management agreed: "Late night shopping is and will remain an integral part of our calendar and we are already looking forward to our next event in 2020".

Rossy de Palma, the iconic Spanish actress, is ambassador of the Designer Outlet Zaragoza, the new shopping destination in the North of Spain. Opening is planned for Spring 2020.

Designer Outlet Zaragoza will be the new shopping destination, a meeting point for families and friends and part of an innovative shopping and entertainment complex with more than 70,000 square meters gross lettable area. The Designer Outlet Zaragoza invited last week representatives of numerous national and international brands to a show cooking event in Madrid. The event was organised by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, the operator of the Designer Outlet Zaragoza; where Rossy de Palma was the special guest, accompanied by Ramón Freixa, a chef with two Michelin stars, who prepared some of his star dishes.

‘I am convinced that this project is unique, an added value for the North of Spain and the Ebro valley and that it will become a success. The pleasure of enjoying local cuisine, shopping and entertainment. This type of commercial space brings together family and friends and is increasingly important -in this time of digital boom-, where only e-commerce seems to grow. One of the main pillars of the project will be the cinemas of the operator Artesiete, an international benchmark in the sector due to its high technological component (3D reference) and maximum comfort for the client, with 8 rooms. In addition, Telefónica will be present with a Flagship Store where it will show the latest technologies linked to the world of retail. MadLab will offer fun for the whole family with a new leisure format in virtual reality and you can also enjoy a set of restaurants that will offer a mix of local and international cuisine, from gourmet spaces to more family formats.

Premier Outlet Budapest in a new style

Premier Outlet Budapest has undergone an enormous transformation inside and outside. The outlet village is waiting for the visitors with new premium brands, like Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Lacoste and many more, but not only the supply has changed, the new centre logo and the more pleasant atmosphere reflects the upgrade of the centre with more fashion & lifestyle appeal. The transformation is not over yet, new shopping atmosphere and food passage are coming soon.

Till now 8 new brands opened already their store and further 6 more new brands will come to the premium outlet village in Biatorbágy. After the opening of the Designer Outlet Algarve in November last year, the Designer Outlet Croatia is the second project in this constellation. The opening of the new and largest outlet in Croatia was spiced up by Severina, and some of the first customers were Sandra Bagarić, Andrea Andrassy, Damir Kedžo, Mario Petreković and Zsa Zsa.

More than 15,000 visitors attended the grand opening of the new and largest outlet in Croatia, Designer Outlet Croatia, on Thursday, 21 June. During pink ribbon cutting, Severina invited all visitors to indulge in shopping in shops offering more than one hundred fashion and lifestyle brands at outlet prices, which are 30% to 70% lower compared to recommended retail prices year-round.

Among the first visitors who enjoyed shopping in the unique environment and architecture of the outlet inspired by Croatian regions were famous Croatians like Sandra Bagarić, Andrea Andrassy, Damir Kedžo, Mario Petreković, young singer Zsa Zsa and popular Croatian designers Đurđica Vorkapić and Ksenija Vrbanić.

After shopping and exploring a wide gastronomic offer in the outlet, many visitors and fashion lovers attended a free concert by Severina and enjoyed the first public performance of her new ballad ‘Unaprijed gotovo'.

In the outlet which is, in this phase, spreading over 15,000 sqm, there is also a small farmers’ market of products from local farmers which aroused interest of everyone who lead an active and healthy life. While exploring the outlet offer, many visitors stopped by replicas of Lotrščak Tower and Dubrovnik City Bell Tower, while they also had a chance to walk through Dalmatian streets.

Grand Opening of the Designer Outlet Croatia

On Thursday, 21 June, 5 pm, the eagerly anticipated opening of Designer Outlet Croatia, the new premium outlet village for Croatia, was celebrated with a pink ribbon-cutting ceremony. Representatives of the investors, operator and authorities, as well as famous singer Severina, attended the grand opening.

The Designer Outlet Croatia has a gross lettable area (GLA) of 15,000 sqm and is a joint venture of IKEA Centres and Swiss Mutschler Outlet Holding AG, which invested 33 million euros in the first phase of its construction. With the opening of the new outlet, located opposite IKEA store Zagreb, in Rugvica commercial zone, more than 400 new jobs were created. A second phase is planned for the coming years and will grow the centre up to 25,000 sqm with approximately 150 shops.

More than 100 fashion and lifestyle brands welcomed first visitors

The centre features more than 100 international fashion and lifestyle brands including Armani Exchange,

Superdry, Guess, Gant, Adidas, Under Armour and with more great names like Tommy Hilfiger, Pepe Jeans, Calvin Klein to follow in the coming months – all offering savings 30% to 70%, all year round. The centre features also some Croatia’s design, like Xenia Design and Hippy Garden. Culinary delights and refreshments are ensured by Mlinar, Leggiero, Greenbar, and Ali Kebaba.

'Designer Outlet Croatia is a unique project and we are really proud that we open today more than 50 shops. We achieved occupancy rate of 70%, which will additionally grow to 85% until November, clearly showing the need and quality of this project. With the planned second phase of the centre and additional complementary retail the investment will group up to 88 million. There is also a small farmers' market within the outlet. It mainly includes products of farmers around Rugvica and it will, we believe, additionally encourage the development of the local community', pointed out Branko Mihajlov, the Director of Designer Outlet Croatia.

Sustainable Premium Village Architecture

Designer Outlet Croatia is one of the first retail objects in Croatia with the international certificate for green building BREEAM. The project thus includes many sustainable elements such as the use of geothermal energy, LED lighting, solar panels on the roof, rainwater collection and its reuse for irrigation and washing surfaces as well as an electric car charger.

The architecture of the new shopping destination is inspired by Croatian regions. Visitors can find a replica of Dubrovnik City Bell Tower, take a walk through Dalmatian streets and find the Lotrščak Tower or simply enjoy the view of lively colored facades resembling the architecture of Zagreb.

The grand opening of Designer Outlet Croatia, which began with a press conference, was attended by Nataša Mikuš Žigman, state secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts in the role of the representative of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Zagreb County prefect Stjepan Kožić and the mayor of the municipality of Rugvica Mato Čičak. They were joined by the representatives of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Croatian Employers’ Association and Zagreb County Tourist Board as well as representatives of the investors - Sylvie Mutschler, the director of Swiss Mutschler Outlet Holding AG and  Vladislav Lalić, Property & Expansion Manager IKEA South East Europe

Due to the opening, from 22 to 24 June, Designer Outlet Croatia will be opened from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Cláudia Vieira, together with Miguel Guerreiro, Centre Manager of Designer Outlet Algarve, have been the hosts of the Outlet’s opening party on the 23rd of November, in Loulé. Invited to meet the biggest outlet in the Algarve, with discounts from 30 to 70% all year round, other celebrities have attended: Jessica Athaíde, Diogo Amaral, Sara Salgado, Vanessa Martins, Andreia Rodrigues, Andreia Dinis, Joana Duarte and Diogo Dias. Having taken a tour around the new space which is inspired from typical algarvian villages, they didn’t resist to do some shopping in the Outlet’s stores.

The Designer Outlet Algarve, with 13,000 sqm, is now the biggest outlet of the south region of Portugal, offering more than 50 brands of fashion and lifestyle, with discounts from 30 to 70%, all year round.

The visitors can now enjoy exclusive discounts of sports brands like Adidas, Puma, Ericeira and fashion brands with Bimba y Lola, Lacoste, Lion of Porches, Cortefiel, Springfield, Desigual, Decenio, Ana Sousa and Pepe Jeans. Start of construction work of City Outlet Wuppertal

The Clees Group of Companies has officially commenced construction work on the City Outlet Wuppertal. Preparatory construction work has been underway since July. Now it is to continue rapidly at the centrally located Döppersberg, in the district Elbersfeld.

Alexander Clees, project manager of the Clees Group, explains: "All constructional questioins  have been clarified  and the letting of the location is in full swing. The revitalisation measures in the Federal Railway Directorate can now begin step-by-step:"The upgrading of the property to an inner-city outlet has begun.

The City Outlet Wuppertal will be developed in a total of three construction phases. In the first phase of construction, the former Federal Railway Directorate, will comprise approx. 10,000 m² of retail space with up to 65 shops. The opening is planned for the second half of 2018. A development plan for the second and third construction phase is currently being developed with public participation. The construction project is expected to have around 30,000 sqm of retail space after completion of all phases of construction and will be completed in 2020.   

Listed building can be rediscovered through modern retail architecture

In recent months, numerous detailed questions have been clarified for the first construction phase. The optimal integration of the historical building fabric was a challenge to which all project participants contributed intensively. The result is a successful synthesis of history and modernity, which has been developed by the internationally recognised architectural firm ATP Frankfurt in close cooperation with the city of Wuppertal's Historic Monuments Conservation Department. ATP has already been awarded numerous national and international property prizes, which particularly emphasize the integration of real estate in harmony with the environment and people.

Georg Rosen, head of the Architecture Group at ATP Frankfurt emphasises the high standards of the project: "The City Outlet Wuppertal is a unique construction project. We are very proud that we were able to develop an innovative concept for this very beautiful listed property together with all those involved in the project. This is a milestone for the urban development of Wuppertal and creates a new attraction at the Döppersberg for the Wuppertal residents and visitors from the region, from which the entire city centre will benefit. The architectural concept has the necessary value and attractiveness to do justice to the property and the location." 
The Federal Railway Directorate, built in 1875, is the starting point and heart of the new City Outlet and is now undergoing a reconstruction. The characteristic architecture of the building will be retained in the course of modernization.

Designer Outlet Soltau organized the beloved Late Night Shopping for the 5th time with a lot of exclusive offers, live performances, VIP close enough to touch and a charity tombola for the benefit of the „Kinder-UKE“ in Hamburg.

Actress Bettina Zimmermann, Kai Wiesinger, pop-princess Vanessa Mai, pop duo „Glasperlenspiel“, actor and moderator Thore Schölermann, social media stars Xenia Overdose, Milena Le Secret and Diana zur Löwen met on the pink carpet inmidst of numerous fans. U.S star Bo Derek, best known as „The Dreamlike Woman“, brought Hollywood glamour to the Lueneburger Heath. After that they all personally sold tombola tickets to the numerous visitors. Everybody had the opportunity to buy a tombola ticket from his favourite celebrity.

Festival Atmosphere with Glasperlenspiel and Vanessa Mai

The pop-duo „Glasperlenspiel“ heated up the atmosphere with its electrosound in the heart of the outlet center. This day the shops were open till 11 o’clock PM and attracted consumers with discounts with up to 80%. Children’s face painting and the popular balloon artist Mr. Jack provided for beaming faces among the youngest visitors. Heavy rush also at the free of charge Beauty Lounge, where make-up and hairstyling professionals ensured the right styling for the shopping party – including one or another styling tip. The absolute favourite of the younger visitors were social media stars Xenia Overdose, Milena Le Secret and Diana zur Löwen. They readily posed for numerous selfies with their fans. The climax of the shopping night was the performance of shooting star Vanessa Mai. She impressed the audience with her songs and her passionate performance. To the delight of the center visitors, she presented her new title „Nie wieder“ and extended the gig to a total of 40 minutes. The evening provided many special moments and was an event with many highlights and satisfied visitors.

Attractive Charity Tombola for the benefit of the „Kinder-UKE“ in Hamburg

The full proceeds of the charity tombola were spent by Designer Outlet Soltau to the „Kinder-UKE“ in Hamburg to support the modernization process of the university hospital. The main prize of the tombola was a weekend with a Range Rover Evoque Cabrio and almost all tickets were sold by the end of the event.

„We are very pleased by the increasing number of visitors and the fact that our 5th Late Night Shopping became a firm component of  the event calender up here in the north“, said Center Manager Michael Lungkofler. „Once again, we were able to offer shopping fun, star glamour and charity in a proper way and entertain our guest. The current portfolio of ROS Retail Outlet Shopping includes Designer Outlet Soltau, City Outlet Geislingen, Shopinn Brugnato 5Terre Outlet Village and the Premier Outlet Budpaest in cooperation with Savills Investment Management since October 2016. In June 2017 ROS was able to secure the Polish outlet portfolio from the Deutsche Bank with locations in Warsaw, Gdansk and Sosnowiec together with their joint venture partner Peakside Capital  (PRÔM).  Directly after the take over the locations were rebranded as Designer Outlet Warszawa, Designer Outlet Gdansk and Designer Outlet Sosnowiec according to the new aimed trading-up strategy.

Strong partnership with IKEA Centres in Portugal and Croatia

ROS retail outlet shopping also has another reason to be happy and that is the partnership with IKEA Centres. The Designer Outlet Algarve will be opening this autumn and the foundation stone for the second project with IKEA, the Designer Outlet Croatia near Zagreb, was laid last week. The opening is scheduled for spring 2018.

Further five new developments in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Poland in the pipeline

In addition to the currently operating outlet retail area of round 90,000 square meters, ROS Retail Outlet Shopping also plans further centre extensions and new developments of more than 100,000 square meters outlet retail space by 2019. The new project developments include the Designer Outlet Zaragoza, Designer Outlet Hautmont, City Outlet Wuppertal and Fashion Outlet Kraków. 

Foundation stone laid for the Designer Outlet Croatia


On Thursday, 20 July, there was held a ground-breaking ceremony for the largest outlet complex in Croatia, near IKEA Zagreb Store. The opening of the Designer Outlet Croatia is planned for spring 2018. Foundation stone was laid by representatives of the investors: Branko Mihajlov, the director of Designer Outlet Croatia, Sylvie Mutschler, the director of Swiss Mutschler Outlet Holding AG, Stefan Vanoverbeke, the director IKEA SEE and Thomas Reichenauer, the director of ROS Retail Outlet Shopping which will be responsible for management of the complex and outlet renting. Mato Cicak, head of the Municipality of Rugvica and Stjepan Kozic, Zagreb County Prefect, also joined the ceremony. Branko Mihajlov, the director of Designer Outlet Croatia, presented details of the new shopping destination: “We want to contribute to a further development of the local community. After the first phase of the construction, along with 400 new jobs, within Designer Outlet Croatia there will also be a market where  family farms, primarily from the Municipality of Rugvica, will offer their products to our visitors. The shopping experience will be additionally enriched with architecture inspired by Croatian regions. We are convinced that Designer Outlet Croatia will become the favourite place for leisure and relaxation and provide a unique shopping experience.“ Frano Matusic, a delegate of the Croatian Prime Minister and State Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, pointed out that the outlet complex will contribute to tourist offer in the vicinity of Croatian capital and attract many visitors from the region and neighbouring countries with its unique offer and its position on the intersection of highways. The ceremony was also attended by other representatives of state authorities - Marko Jurcic, a delegate and economic advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia and Zeljko Uhlir, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning. The project was also supported by the representatives of the Embassies of Sweden and Austria in the Republic of Croatia and representatives of Croatian Chamber of Economy, Croatian Employers' Association and Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts.

Project in two phases

A total of 88 million euros will be invested in the two phases of the construction and accompanying content. After the first phase, which will be completed in spring 2018, the largest outlet complex in Croatia will extend to more than 15,000 square meters with around 90 shops. After the completion of the second phase of the project, the complex will extend to 25,000 square meters with around 150 shops, mainly containing various fashion brands. Together with IKEA Zagreb Store, Designer Outlet Croatia will provide visitors with accompanying content, such as fast food restaurants, a children playground and petrol station, which will be ready to use already in 2018, while the hypermarket, retail park and DIY Retail Park will be opened after the second phase of the construction.

Occupancy rate of already 50%

Sustainable construction with BREEAM certificate

Designer Outlet Croatia will be one of the first retail buildings in Croatia that will own BREEAM, the international certificate for green building. Namely, the project will involve many sustainable elements, such as the use of geothermal energy, LED lighting, solar panels on the roof, collecting rainwater and its reuse for the supply of irrigation and cleaning of various areas, as well as e-charging stations. Investing in Designer Outlet Croatia is a joint venture of IKEA Centres and the Swiss Mutschler Outlet Holding AG, companies which have already cooperated in a similar project Designer Outlet Algarve in Portugal. The largest outlet complex in Croatia is going to be managed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, the renowned Austrian outlet operator.

Fashion Outlet Kraków – new standard on the Polish outlet centre market – already half lease


Fashion Outlet Kraków, a new outlet centre being developed in the Dabie district of Kraków, will offer clients an innovative concept on the Polish outlet centre market, combining shopping with an extensive entertainment and service offering.

Clients will have access to nearly 100 stores, coffee shops, restaurants, a bowling alley and a Cinema City IMAX movie theatre. Although the investment is expected to be completed in 2018, almost 50% of the centre’s space has already been leased.

The investment, which will eventually be comprised of 30,000 sqm of prime space, combines an optimal central location with an extensive range of fashion brands as well as services and entertainment functions, alongside a wide array of restaurants. The centre’s tenants will include attractive and well-known brands of the fashion, sport and premium categories. The food and entertainment part will include amongst others McDonald’s, Fitness Platinium, Pink Bowling, as well as a large creative kid’s play zone. Other tenants of the centre include Rossmann, and Media Expert and recently, Cinema City, the operator of an nine screen cinema with IMAX has signed a long term lease.

Torre Village with the Designer Outlet Zaragoza starts its project


The leisure and shopping complex TorreVillage, promoted by Grupo Iberebro, will generate more than a thousand direct jobs and will open its doors in the last quarter of 2018. Today, the construction work on the project has started with the demolition of the old factory of Pikolin, space that will occupy TorreVillage. 

"Today we are starting a new stage, TorreVillage. Today we go from being a project to being a reality”, has said Alfonso Solans, President of Grupo Iberebro, at the event that took place this morning in the grounds of the old Pikolin Factory. The demolition of the already in disuse facilities of the factory marks the beginning of the constructive works of the future leisure and shopping complex. The act was also attended by Marta Gastón, Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment of the Government of Aragon, stating that this is a project that means "commitment, impact and benefit" for the Community, as well as "employment, innovation, corporate social responsibility and, ultimately, wealth in the territory”. Alfonso Solans thanked its presence to the large institutional representation that had the event, which was attended by politicians from the different Aragonese institutions, a large number of Mayors from the TorreVillage surroundings, social and business representatives and the main mass media of the Community; and he also had a special mention for the consumer associations of Aragon.

TorreVillage will create more than a thousand direct jobs and has its opening date set in the last quarter of 2018. This act of initiation of the project TorreVillage has been developed in one of the industrial units of the already unoccupied Aragonese factory and the assistants have been able to observe the demolition of the first industrial unit of the old facilities of Pikolin. The demolition phase, which begins today, will last until approximately till summer 2019.

New impressions of the City Outlet Wuppertal

The Clees consortium introdruces latest details on City Outlet Wuppertal. The visuals, which are created by the architectural office ATP Frankfurt, are showing the indoor areas and the retail spaces in the historical Federal Railways Head Office. The Federal Railways Head Office from 1875 is the centrepiece of City Outlet Wuppertal. The characteristic architecture of the property will be maintained in the course of modernization. The building is going to be revitalized and prepared for the retail uses.

The unique character of the historical inner courtyard will be renovated with pillars and other historical elements to remain the character of the monument-protected building. City Outlet Wuppertal aims to create a shopping atmosphere as well a quality of stay and simultaneously maintain the uniqueness of the building.

City Outlet Wuppertal: Green light for the first construction phase


On 22nd December 2016, the Clees company group received the building permit for the first construction phase of the City Outlet Wuppertal. This positive news puts the start of the outlet within reach. A stand for children where they can carve pumpkins and get scary makeup will prepare the younger audience for Halloween. Official ground-breaking: Launch of the extension of the Fabrikverkäufe Geislingen

Designer Outlet Soltau Extensions: Reports confirm positive effects for the town Soltau and the heath region
