Geislingen, 31 July 2025

Last Thursday, Investor Sylvie Mutschler, Country Manager of ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, Frauke Aumann and Mayor Ignazio Ceffalia celebrated City Outlet Geislingen’s 10th anniversary with a symbolic cake cutting ceremony while at the same time, officially opening the centre’s new extension.

Since its takeover by the Mutschler Group in 2015, the outlet village has developed into a popular shopping destination in the Swabian Alb. Located directly next to the WMF headquarters, it combines tradition and modernity: in the former WMF fish market, now Europe's largest outlet of the SEB Group, visitors can find a unique range of home products from brands such as Rowenta, Tefal, Krups, Lagostina and WMF.

From 31 July to 23 August, the ‘Happy Birthday Weeks’ invite visitors to join in the celebrations with special offers, food trucks, family activities and exciting surprises.

The place for fashion and lifestyle

Today, City Outlet Geislingen offers 25 stores with over 50 home, fashion and lifestyle brands. The latest expansion brings new highlights such as:

• Storck confectionery with classics such as Toffifee, Knoppers, Merci, Dickmanns, Werther's Echte and many more

• Schiesser with lingerie & loungewear

• Ara Shoes with a wide range of fashionable footwear

On 21 August, Chef Cuisine will also open, offering high-quality barbecue and kitchen products from Feinkost Käfer.

‘City Outlet Geislingen is unique in Germany due to its focus on home and lifestyle. With the current expansion, we have grown into a small outlet village – a win for our customers, our brand partners and the entire region,’ says Sylvie Mutschler.

A valuable partner for the region

City Outlet Geislingen is not only a place to shop, but also a strong partner for the region – creating new jobs, attracting tourists and offering a unique mix of brands that combines fashion, home and lifestyle.

‘We are delighted about the increase in weekend tourism in the Swabian Alb and the transit traffic of tourists from France, Switzerland and Austria,’ adds Frauke Aumann.

Mayor Ignazio Ceffalia emphasised: ‘City Outlet Geislingen is an important location factor for our city – it creates jobs, attracts visitors from far and wide and strengthens Geislingen as an attractive place to shop and spend time.’
