Warsaw, 31.August 2025
Just this August Designer Outlet Warzsawa celebrated its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, the centre has become Polands largest premium fashion outlet and a key point on the region's commercial map.
This August was all about celebrations: Designer Outlet Warsaw, attracting customers from Warsaw and the entire Mazovia region, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a series of exciting events and promotions all over the city. The centre, which first introduced the modern outlet concept to Poland in 2005, is now a key element within Warsaws commercial infrastructure.
Two decades of history
When the centre opened in Piaseczno, the retail market in Poland was undergoing dynamic changes. Shopping centres were just gaining popularity, and the concept of outlets, was just emerging, yet Designer Outlet Warsaw quickly gained recognition among customers.
The outlet alongside its brand mix grew steadily with sports and casual brands joining premium brands. Over the years the centre responded to growing consumer expectations by expanding its both its product range and as well as its gross lettable area - all while cultivating a reputation as a smart and exclusive shopping destination.
An anniversary full of attractions
The centre’s 20th anniversary was celebrated all throughout August. Special decorations and popular “Instagram posts”, with pink XXL shopping bags and floral arrangements, could be found all throughout the centre’s arcades. Additionally pastel balloons - the key visual of August’s celebrations – adorned the centre with a celebratory charm. Guests were further invited to take part in activities with attractive prizes, including gift cards worth several hundred zlotys.
The centre's birthday was also widely publicised throughout the area - a special Designer Outlet Warsaw team visited Warsaw and the surrounding towns, promoting the anniversary and engaging residents in competitions.
The celebration’s highlight was it’s three-day finale from 29–31 August, during which almost a thousand gift cards were handed out, and additional prizes could be won in the VIP Club loyalty programme.
Fashion for three generations
With it’s retail space of over 23,000m², Designer Outlet Warszawa is home to over 130 national as well as international brands such as Boss, Calvin Klein, Max Mara, Michael Kors and Polo Ralph Lauren. This variety makes the outlet an attractive destination for a diverse group of customers - from those looking for sports products to those interested in high-end fashion.
With its longstanding sucess in the region, Designer Outlet Warszawa benefits strongly from the loyalty of its customers. The first customers visiting Piaseczno in the mid-2000s, have now grown in to loyal customers, visting the centre with their grown-up children and grandchildren.
This multigenerational continuity builds Designer Outlet Warsaw's unique position on the market as a place that not only responds to current shopping needs, but also wins the affection and loyalty of its customers.
Stable market position
The twentieth anniversary is also an opportunity to summarise the centre’s role in Warsaw’s commercial structure. Designer Outlet Warsaw has been attracting crowds of visitors annually for years, becoming an important part of the regional retail market. Combined with a consistently developed brand portfolio and recognisable architecture, the centre has built a stable and unassailable position in the premium outlet segment.
