Fall & Winter Fashion Trends 2025

Fall is finally here, brining with it the newest fashion trends for this cozy season.

From warm and deep colours such as burgundy and deep blues to defined tailoring and nostalgic influences from past decades, this season designers have embraced self-expression through expressive tailoring and a variety of fabric and colour combinations.

For men and women alike the fall/ winter season 2025 draws a lot of inspiration from nostalgic designs, reinventing them with a unique twist.

The season of warm colours

For women, this F/W season embraces the return of warm and deep colours such as burgundy, deep blue and violet, as well as softer orange tones and fiery reds, primarily used as accent colours.

Often seen in dresses, twin sets, skirts and even coats, these deep colours convey warmth and elegance while evoking a sense of comfort.

They can easily be paired with neutrals, such as the popular brown tones, or incorporated into monochromatic outfits.

Speaking of brown: the return of this trendy colour to the catwalks has been impossible to miss, and its dominance shows no sign of slowing down. From outerwear to skirts and dresses, warm and earthy shades of brown are everywhere.

Given its current popularity, brown is undoubtedly the neutral to embrace this season. What makes this trend even better is its gender neutral appeal and its timless quality.

Time travel
From trouser suits and blazers to shoulder pads and pencil skirts, these classic items are back in fashion. These timeless pieces have been reimagined and are stronger than ever, featuring straight-cut, oversized blazers and colourful pencil skirts.

There's no need to fully embrace the '80s, though. These pieces can be combined with other seasonal trends to create a contemporary look with a classic twist.

But not only women’s fashion has taken inspirations from times gone by this season. Wide-legged trouser, cinched waists and a touch of dramatic elegance – these elements, reminiscent of the 70’s, dominated men’s fashion on the runways.

Refined and re-thought, these pieces, have taken all the best parts of the era, transforming them into new and contemporary versions.

No need to fully embrace the 70’s though, as even though a lot of these garments might look like statement pieces, most of them can easily be integrated into the everyday wardrobe, creating a contemporary style with a classic twist.
