Let’s meet Matea Torčić, Marketing Executive at Designer Outlet Croatia

We are excited to welcome Matea Torčić as Marketing Executive at Designer Outlet Croatia. With a strong background in digital strategy, content creation and brand development, she brings both creativity and analytical thinking to the team.

We caught up with Matea to learn more about her professional journey and what excites her most about her new role.

What are your key goals for the first months in your new role, especially regarding that the opening of Designer Outlet Croatia’s extension is right around the corner?

In the first few months, my focus is to ensure strong visibility and awareness around the opening of the extension. This includes optimising digital channels, supporting traffic-driving campaigns, and creating clear, engaging communication for our visitors. I also aim to establish smooth working relationships with the team and partners to ensure that all activities run efficiently during this exciting period.

What’s one thing you look forward to doing once the extension opens —either as part of your role or just for fun?

Professionally, I look forward to showcasing the new offer through creative content and on-site storytelling. Personally, I’m excited to be part of the moment when everything comes to life and visitors experience the new space for the first time.

Do you have a go-to motto or mindset when things get busy?

I think it would best be said with: “Stay focused, stay adaptable.”
Every day, our work moves so fast, so I try to always keep a clear head, prioritise what really matters and stay flexible when plans change or evolve.

What’s something surprising about you that your new team might not expect?

Despite my academic background being in marketing, over the years, I’ve developed strong graphic design skills that keep my creative spark alive.

If Designer Outlet Croatia had a fashion style or attitude — what would it be? Classic and timeless, edgy and bold, laid-back and casual? Give us your take.

I’d say it’s a mix of classic and timeless, with a touch of modern confidence. It feels clean and high-quality, yet welcoming and full of energy.
