City Outlet Bad Münstereifel opened in August 2014 and is the new and unique city centre outlet concept in the historical old town of Bad Münstereifel. It represents an innovative concept of outlet shopping  – focussed on the regeneration of the historical town centre of Bad Münstereifel. The concept is sustainable and politically correct - wonderful monuments are retained and have been restored and renovated in collaboration with the local authority's Heritage Department.

The creation of 30 retail units with 60 to 800 sqm of sales area (a total of approx. 12,000 sqm of rental space and additional 4,000 sqm catering) in the original and historic ambience of a more than 1,000 year-old cloth working town attracts more than 13.6 million people within a 90 minutes by car within the catchment area. Only 40 minutes drive time away from Cologne. Cologne is the town with the highest poupluation of North Rhine-Westphalia. Excellent transport bindin. (A1 motorway and own train station)
