La Torre Outlet Zaragoza will be the new fashion and lifestyle shopping destination and meeting place of Northern Spain and Southern France. This urban entertainment centre with an integrated outlet village will be the first of its kind in Europe. La Torre Outlet Zaragoza build by Grupo Iberebro, will open its doors in October 2020. The opening of the centre, originally scheduled for May 2020, was delayed as a result of the COVID-19 corona pandemic. During the state of emergency, the construction works of La Torre Outlet Zaragoza continued in line with all official regulations.

“We are really pleased that our project is now in its final stage of construction completion and we can confirm with enthusiasm and confidence its opening in October”, says Luis Barcelona, CEO of Grupo Iberebro.

“In close conversation with the general contractors of the construction and tenants we agreed on this new opening date. The concept of La Torre Outlet Zaragoza is well perceived by the market, because of its perfect location in the heart of Northern Spain and supported by the fact that outlet centres haven proven already successfully their position in the past, even in turbulent times. In this context I would like to mention, that we will create 1,000 direct jobs and 8,000 indirect jobs by completion”, he adds.

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza is managed by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, one of Europe’s leading operators of designer outlets across Europe.

Visitors will enjoy more than 90 international fashion, sports and lifestyle brands like Adidas, Reebok, Guess, Mango and Fifty, outlet of the Tendam Group (Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women’Secret, and Milano) and many more, always 30-70% off. The outlet village will be enriched by a wide-ranging offer, including a state-of-the-art Artesiete cinema, a food court, a stand-alone McDonalds drive-through and an interactive leisure area. The cooperation with Telefónica will support and enrich the shopping experience through a fully integrated digital approach with a customer loyalty program, social media linked-gamification as well as virtual and augmented reality features. The highlight will be a giant LED screen at the central plaza. Further attractions will be a two-level climbing wall provided by Climbat with further locations in Madrid and Barcelona.

The crowning complement will be MadLab, a very innovative leisure concept, that will complement La Torre Outlet Zaragoza’s offer. “We are convinced of the regional appeal and success of this unique concept. In our premises we will join known brands with virtual reality activities, escape room, laser game or hyper reality. Visitors will enjoy a full of challenges and surprises experience both for children and adults”, says Paco Hernández, Director MadLab Zaragoza.

Families will love the different spaces and experiences that MadLab offers, from LEGO® Fan Factory, to the first The Smurfs escape room, celebrating a birthday party in Superzings’ universe, having an Star Treck virtual reality experience, feeling like a real undercover agent in Narcos, or even playing in the biggest arcade machine of the world.

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza will have a gross lettable area of 61,500 sqm, of which 13,500 sqm are dedicated to the outlet village, 15,000 sqm to the food court and leisure zone, and 33,000 sqm to the retail park anchored by a Decathlon giant store with 3,000 sqm. 2,800 free parkings are available. Conveniently located in the north of Zaragoza adjacent to the highway AP-68 to Bilbao and directly linked to the A-2, one of the most important highway connections, which connects Zaragoza with Madrid and Barcelona. Furthermore, the location benefits from perfect access by public transport with an own train station connected to the high-speed railway AVE Renfe to Madrid and Barcelona. Zaragoza airport is only 10 minutes’ drive time away.
