With extensive experience in both domestic and international retail, José Pereira stepped into his role as Centre Manager at Designer Outlet Algarve in October. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to his new position, overseeing all aspects of centre management. Read on to get to know José a bit better!

What motivated you to join Designer Outlet Algarve?

Being Portuguese and having lived for years in France, joining Designer Outlet Algarve feels like the perfect fusion of my roots and my professional journey. I am very proud to be part of such an ambitious and exclusive project in Portugal, especially as we lead the way with our successful commercial complex and look forward to the upcoming centre extension.

How would you describe yourself using each letter of your name? –

J - Jovial, O - Observant, S - Supportive, E - Energetic.

If you could master any skill overnight, what would it be?

Definitely a deeper dive into cutting-edge tech—especially AI. Mastering that would be a game-changer!

What’s one daily habit you can’t live without?

Starting the day with a coffee alongside my team at the office—it sets the tone and keeps the energy buzzing!

What excites you most about being part of ROS?

ROS is a benchmark in European outlet management, and I am excited to be able to share insights with this talented group. Learning from the team and seeing firsthand what makes ROS tick is incredibly inspiring.
