Designer Outlet Warszawa wins silver statuette at PRCH Retail Awards
Designer Outlet Warszawa was awarded by PRCH in the category of Outlet Shopping Place of the Year - Best Performance. This was one of the most important awards received by the centre, which represents its strength and the high quality of its activities.
Warszawa, November 09. The winners of the prestigious PRCH Retail Awards 2020 were announced on 5th November 2020 during an online ceremony. This year's finalists include facilities and retail chains that are distinguished by the high quality of their service and carry out the most effective activities in Poland. An independent jury assessed the submitted projects in terms of their quality, innovation and efficiency.
Designer Outlet Warszawa was the only one awarded in the category of Outlet Shopping Place of the Year – Best Performance, and received a silver statuette. The award was primarily granted for the coherent and consistent strategy in developing its portfolio facilities, and the excellent traffic and sales results implemented by the operator ROS Retail Outlet Shopping. The unique selection of tenants, the services for customers and the focus on the customer experience resulted in a steady increase in footfall and the full commercialization of the retail space.
Designer Outlet centres have been aware of the shopping trends and changes in the retail market for years. “Designer Outlet Warszawa is a unique shopping destination that customers from all over Poland like and appreciate. We are the first choice for an increasing number of brands, and some of them have their only store in Poland in our centre,” says Katarzyna Ciemińska, Centre Manager Designer Outlet Warszawa. “We have planned to open a new retail wing in spring, where we will welcome new tenants and become the largest premium outlet centre in Poland,” she adds.
Additionally, Designer Outlet centres were nominated in other three categories: Strategy and Activities in Social Media, Sales Campaign and Event of the Year.
The Retail Awards competition, organized for 11 years by the Polish Council of Shopping Centers (PRCH), brings together over 200 investors, managers and tenants of shopping centres. The main objective of the competition is to promote the best business practices in the shopping centre industry in Poland. Thanks to the complex and substantial assessment of experts from the industry, scientific circles, marketing and media, the PRCH Retail Awards are recognized as the most prestigious and reliable on the market. The submitted projects go through a transparent, multi-stage evaluation and verification process, allowing an independent jury to select the winners.
