ROS Retail Outlet Shopping ranks 3rd in Europe in Ecostra survey
Germany, March 17. As every year, in February 2021 the consulting company Ecostra produced and published the Outlet Center Performance Report Europe (OCPRE) 2020. It is the only Europe-wide survey of brands on such a wide scale, based on the economic performance of their stores located in the outlet centres. This survey is a benchmark for the entire European outlet industry.
In this year’s report on the difficult and uncertain 2020, ROS Retail Outlet Shopping came third in Europe in the category of Shopping Center Management during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are very happy to be on the podium among the operators who have coped best with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are proud of the trust our business partners have placed in us and we will continue to work hard to make outlet centres desirable shopping and entertainment destinations in Europe”, said Thomas Reichenauer Founder & Managing Director at ROS Retail Outlet Shopping.
OCPRE is the only independent pan-European study on the economic performance of brands with stores in outlet centers. It covers all outlet centers in Europe that have been operating for more thantwo years. The ranking has been conducted continuously since 2008.
Sales and expansion managers whose brands have at least three stores in outlet centers in different countries were invited to express their opinion. The surveys are carried out in a very selected group, as only managers who operate in many markets at the same time can assess the performance of stores located in centers operating in different European countries.
This year's survey covered 76 international manufacturers and brands, mainly from the fashion sector, with a total of 1,149 outlet stores in European outlet centers.
