  • La Torre Outlet Zaragoza received the Best Retail Park Award at the closing ceremony of the XVIII Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres and Retail Parks on Thursday, 9th June.

  • The fashion and lifestyle destination for northern Spain was awarded for its facilities and digital concept as well as its fashion, food and leisure offer.

The AECC (Spanish Association of Shopping Centres) celebrates every year the Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres and Retail Parks, which brings together representatives of many shopping centres in the country and professionals from the sector share their experience. On 9th June, the event closed with the awards ceremony for the different competition categories, with La Torre Outlet Zaragoza winning Best Retail Park. Centre Manager Claudio Poltera, representatives of the investor Grupo Iberebro and ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, the centre’s management company, received the award.

La Torre Outlet Zaragoza was recognized for its innovative concept, particularly its architecture, digital project and commitment to its surroundings and the local community. The converted space, which formerly housed the Pikolin factory, is today a fully digitalized outlet complex. In addition to being inspired by the industrial architectural style, the centre maintains original elements and pieces from the construction of the mid-20th century, which connect the history of the place with its current activity.

Other key aspects of this recognition are the wide fashion, food and leisure offer, as well as the accessibility of the centre for visitors, its large parking area, the charging areas for electric vehicles and a large number of services available to the customer.

"We are very happy to receive this award, especially considering that the centre has only been open since October 2020. It is a recognition of the work and commitment of a great team to offer visitors the best shopping experience" said Claudio Poltera, Centre Manager of La Torre Outlet Zaragoza.

Conveniently located between Madrid and Barcelona, the fashion and lifestyle shopping destination combines convenience shopping at a Bauhaus DIY store and a food court with a premium factory outlet village in an open-air space.

Bestseller’s brand Jack&Jones has been one of the latest to join the centre’s fashion offer, which also includes Guess, Desigual, Adidas, Puma, Reebok and many more. In the coming weeks, one of Spanish leading perfumeries, Primor, as well as the restaurant chain KFC, are expected to open their doors.
