Designer Outlet Soltau shines in a new light

Designer Outlet Soltau has welcomed new brands such as the recently inaugurated Tommy Hilfiger as well as Skechers, Tom Tailor, Strellson and Villeroy & Boch over the last months. Along with the revamped gastronomic offer, visitors now enjoy an exciting new shopping experience.
Frauke Aumann has been promoted to the newly created position of Country Manager Germany, being now responsible for both Designer Outlet Soltau and City Outlet Geislingen as Centre Manager.
Designer Outlet Soltau delights visitors with a fresh shopping experience thanks to the opening of new stores and the novelties in its food court. The outlet village is home to more than 80 designer, fashion and lifestyle brands like Nike, Puma, Gant, Guess, Only, Marc O’Polo, Lindt and many more, 30-70% off, all year round.
Tommy Hilfiger is the latest addition to the portfolio of the premium outlet village. On 10 August, the American fashion brand opened its doors to the public with exclusive offers and many surprises. In the new store, guests can find male and female premium collections, footwear and accessories.
The eagerly awaited opening coincided with the final days of the Candy Summer, which featured extended opening hours and a packed entertainment programme with live music, popcorn, cotton candy and activities for the whole family. In addition, the food court, which includes trendy Hawaiian bowls, Italian specialities, Asian wok dishes, a Starbucks and handmade ice cream from Amorino, has also been recently joined by a new food concept ‘The Pommes Boutique Foodtruck’. Inspired by Street Food Festivals, the new food truck provides a unique shopping experience, inviting visitors to meet with friends and family while having a bite in a cosy atmosphere.
Other shops opened in recent months include the Skechers sports footwear brand as well as Tom Tailor and Strellson. After a long renovation phase, Tom Tailor reopened at Designer Outlet Soltau, offering a fresh and inviting look with an open checkout in the middle of the store, illuminated banners on the store windows and a large digital screen to keep guests informed about current promotions and campaigns. Strellson, which was previously in the same store as Joop!, opened a new one adjacent the Gant store with a gross lettable area of 240 sqm. The dark façade with the brand’s illuminated logo, and the new shopfitting concept emphasise the elegant look of the store.
Designer Outlet Soltau also welcomed the Villeroy & Boch pop-up store last June. Located next to WMF, customers can find a wide range of high-quality crockery, cutlery, vases and candle holders as well as great gift ideas in the new store.

Aumann, who has been at the helm of City Outlet Geislingen since 2018, has been recently appointed Country Manager by the Austrian operator ROS Retail Outlet Shopping to manage the company’s outlet shopping destinations in the German market as Centre Manager.
“I am very pleased to further develop both City Outlet Geislingen and Designer Outlet Soltau together with the local centre teams, brand partners and other stakeholders. I am also very happy to represent ROS as one of the leading European outlet operators in Germany,” she explained.
