Let’s meet Ágnes Dóra, Leasing Manager Hungary

-Read the interview in Spanish and Polish-

We start the year with our team member Ágnes Dóra, Leasing Manager Hungary. Since 2016, Ágnes is responsible for all leasing activities at Premier Outlet Budapest and M3 Outlet Polgár. Get to meet her!

Premier Outlet Budapest is the largest and most prestigious outlet centre in Hungary. What makes it so special and successful?

Premier Outlet is a unique concept in Hungary with no competition within a 200 km radius, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. During these years, the outlet has gone through several periods, including a rejuvenation programme, which completely changed the look and feel of the centre, and which was accompanied by a strong leasing initiative aimed at taking the centre’s tenant-mix to the next level. At this point, we believe that for anyone looking for a great variety of well-known international brands, a relaxing and quality shopping experience and who doesn’t mind very good bargains either, Premier Outlet Budapest would be their first choice in the area. 😉

ROS took over M3 Outlet Polgár just in 2021 and since then the centre has shown a steady growth. What are the main drivers of the project?

M3 Outlet is a smaller, yet very well-located outlet centre in the triangle of the three major cities of Eastern Hungary and in the direct vicinity of the Slovakian and Romanian borders, serving the needs for a large catchment. The international tenant line-up boosted with several new brands can be considered very strong and unique in the region, which makes the outlet a very appealing shopping destination.

What’s inspiring you in life these days?

Apart from having a job that couldn’t suit me more, I have a three-year-old son who cheers me up and teaches me a lot each day, making my life complete. I think he is the funniest and most entertaining person I’ve ever met. 😊

Can you share with us some of your New Year’s resolutions?

Frankly speaking, I’m not this “New Year’s resolution” type of person. Nevertheless, I always have goals ahead of me, which keep my wheels spinning. In relation to my professional life, I have the goal to kick off the extension phase execution in Premier Outlet Budapest, for which we have already obtained the building permit. Now I need to secure a certain level of interest from appealing international brands to start the construction. This is a very interesting project that can be the jewel of the centre. In my private life, I’d like to focus a little bit more on my inner wellbeing, read more books, practice more yoga and spend quality time with my loved ones.

A forecast about ROS for 2024

We all know that the retail market has been facing constant challenges in the past years, but the clouds will hopefully clear up this year. Nevertheless, the outlet segment and ROS as a professional operator, has not only maintained, but even managed to strengthen its position and, in my opinion, will continue to boom in 2024 too.
